Research interests
I am interested in statistical methods, data analysis und computational modelling.CV
I am studying Cognitive Science M. Sc. and Computer Science M.Sc. as parallel master programmes at the University of Tübingen. I am working since my bachelor's thesis in 2024 on Optional Stopping within the Bayesian framework. I am currently a student research assistant and continue working on Optional Stopping with Frieder.More details to my activities and other stuff I've done you can find on my LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/linus-szillat/.

Szillat, L., Göppert, F., Meyen, S., & Franz, V. H. (2026). Does optional stopping lead to higher error rates than fixed-N designs in the Bayesian t-test? (Poster at the 68th “Tagung experimentell arbeitender Psychologen” (TeaP), 15.3.--18.3.2026, Tübingen, Germany) [ Abstract ]
Göppert, F., Szillat, L., Meyen, S., & Franz, V. H. (2025). Does Bayesian optional stopping always increase error rates? (Poster at the 2025 IMS International Conference on Statistics and Data Science (ICSDS), 15.12.--18.12.2025, Seville, Spain) [ Abstract ]
Göppert, F., Szillat, L., Meyen, S., & Franz, V. H. (2025). Is optional stopping really no problem for Bayesians? (Poster at the 67th “Tagung experimentell arbeitender Psychologen” (TeaP), 9.3.--12.3.2025, Frankfurt, Germany) [ Abstract ]
